Oil Pier II at Karachi Port

Pakistan, Karachi

Meinhardt Pakistan managed the entire engineering project for the new Oil Pier (OP-II) at the Port of Karachi. This terminal will have state-of-the-art features for handling liquid cargo, such as advanced loading arms, suitable piping and manifold systems, and both electric and manual gate valves for liquid accessories. It will also support 24/7 operations, including night navigation.

The terminal can host tankers up to 75,000 DWT, with a docking facility that includes a main dock head/platform and mooring and berthing dolphins on either side. A trestle will connect the port berth to the shore, allowing access to the dock. The project also covers essential infrastructure like roads, electrical systems, water supply, and fire-fighting facilities.
