Tanjong Agas Oil & Gas – Industrial Park

We specialize in engineering and design for major industrial parks. Our team has crafted a development plan for Tanjong Agas, an oil and gas maritime industrial park located in Pekan, Pahang Darul Makmur. This project aims to support the maritime and oil & gas sectors, meeting the demands of Southeast Asia and the Far East.

The planned development is on Malaysia’s east coast, where the land is flat and mostly swampy, with marine and alluvial deposits. The ground level ranges from RL1.4m to RL4.0m.

Facilities we plan to develop include:

• Main Facilities: Shipyard, Fabrication Yard, Logistics Base, Vessel Layup Area, Ship Repair and Maintenance, Dry Bulk and Liquid Terminal.
• Key Support Facilities: 5-star Mariners Center, Oil & Gas College for the Asian Region, Maritime and Oil & Gas Business Park, Helicopter Base with Multimodal Connectivity.

As consultants, Meinhardt was in charge of the detailed design and project study, which included:

• Road and drainage design and documentation;
• Geotechnical interpretation and design;
• Structural analysis and bridge design;
• Sewer piping and treatment plant design;
• Main water piping and tank design;
• Stormwater drainage design and on-site detention area documentation.
